Overview

The Middle Atlantic AP-6 is a 6-space (6U / 10.50 in.) hinged blank access panel built for standard 19-inch equipment racks. It fills unused rack real estate while giving technicians hinged access to cable runs, patch points, or rear-mounted gear behind the panel — no need to remove a fixed blank when you need to reach inside. At 1.4 in. deep and constructed from aluminum with a flat black powder coat finish, it keeps the rack face clean and professional without adding meaningful weight. The AP-6 mounts via two rack points, fits any EIA-standard 19-inch rack, and ships as a single unit.

Compatibility

Fits any Middle Atlantic rack enclosure or third-party EIA-310-compliant 19-inch open-frame or enclosed rack. This includes Middle Atlantic's BGR, ERK, WRK, and WMRK series rack and wall-mount enclosures, as well as standard two-post and four-post open-frame racks used in NVR and network equipment deployments. The 19-inch panel width and 6U height are universal across these formats — no adapter hardware needed.
