Overview

The Hubbell ISFHDT4BK is a single-gang HDBaseT transmitter module designed to extend HDMI and USB signals over standard Cat5e or Cat6 cabling. This module is ideal for conference rooms, classrooms, or digital signage installations where you need to send high-definition video and control signals from a source device (like a laptop or media player) to a display located at a distance, without running bulky HDMI cables. It integrates into standard single-gang wall plates, offering a clean, professional installation.

Compatibility

This HDBaseT transmitter module is designed to work with HDBaseT receivers that support HDMI and USB signal extension. It is compatible with Hubbell's own line of HDBaseT receivers and frames, as well as third-party HDBaseT receivers that adhere to the HDBaseT specification for HDMI and USB transmission. Ensure your receiver supports the resolution and USB version required for your application.

Installation Notes

Installation requires terminating Cat5e or Cat6 cable to the module's rear RJ45 connector. Ensure the cable is properly terminated to T568A or T568B standards. The module fits into a standard single-gang wall plate opening. A compatible HDBaseT receiver unit is required at the display end to receive the signal. Power is typically supplied to the receiver, which then powers the transmitter over the HDBaseT link (PoE - Power over HDBaseT), simplifying installation by eliminating the need for a separate power adapter at the transmitter location.
