The Geovision GV-IO is a 12-input expansion card that extends discrete I/O capability on compatible Geovision NVR and DVR systems. It accepts dry-contact alarm sensors, door contact switches, motion detectors, and other external input devices—routing them into your VMS for triggering video recording, email alerts, relay outputs, and status displays on E-Map. Install it in an available internal I/O expansion slot on your host recorder to add sensor integration without external gateway hardware.
The GV-IO works with Geovision DVR, NVR, and VMS platforms that support I/O expansion modules. Confirm your host system includes available internal expansion slots before ordering. The card integrates with GV-DVR, GV-NVR, GV-VMS, GV-ASManager, GV-Control Center, and GV-Center V2 software. Network connectivity (optional Ethernet module with firmware V2.00 or later) enables remote management via GV-IoT mobile app and up to 16 simultaneous software connections to one GV-IO Box.
Mount the GV-IO directly in an available internal I/O expansion slot on your Geovision recorder. Dimensions are 180 x 27 x 183 mm (7.09 x 1.06 x 7.2 inches). The card draws power from the host system; no separate power supply is required for the input module itself. If you need network connectivity and remote management, an optional Ethernet module with USB connection (max 30V DC, 3A output) is available and requires firmware V2.00 or later on the GV-IO Box.
