Compatibility
The VE601 transmitter is designed to work with ATEN's corresponding VE601 receiver unit (sold separately) to form a complete extension system. It supports standard DVI-1.0 signaling. For optimal performance, use with Cat 5e/6 cable for distances up to 35m at 1920x1200 or 60m at 1080p. For extended reach, use Cat 6a or ATEN's 2L-2910 Cat6 cable for up to 40m at 1920x1200 or 70m at 1080p. Ensure the source device outputs DVI-1.0 compliant video signals.
Installation Notes
The VE601 requires a single Cat 5e/6 or Cat 6a Ethernet cable to connect the transmitter to the receiver. The RJ-45 ports are standard for network cabling. The device operates within a humidity range of 0% to 80% RH, non-condensing. Ensure proper ventilation around the unit to prevent overheating, as extended operation in high temperatures can affect signal integrity and device lifespan. No external power supply is required for the transmitter; it draws power via the HDBaseT-Lite connection from the receiver.
