Overview

The Panduit UTP28X6IN-48 is a 6-inch, 28 AWG Cat6A UTP patch cord designed for high-density environments and demanding network applications. Its compact diameter and solid conductor construction simplify cable management in data centers, server rooms, and aggregation points. The cord supports 10GBASE-T Ethernet and is built with CM/LSZH rated cable for flammability compliance.

Compatibility

This patch cord is engineered to exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA performance requirements up to 500 MHz. It is fully compatible with IEEE 802.3af/at PoE applications when bundled in quantities of 48 cables, and supports IEEE 802.3bt types 3 and 4 (PoE++) for up to 24 cables in a bundle. The cable is also cULus Listed per UL 1863 and CAN/CSA-C22.2 standards.

Constructed with high-performance modular plugs featuring a patented tangle-free latch that prevents snags and ensures a secure, fast release, streamlining moves, adds, and changes. The integrated pair manager and centered de-embedded plug design contribute to optimal performance. Pre-installed RapidID barcodes facilitate simple port mapping with compatible software.
