Overview

The Panduit UTP28X6VL is a 6-foot Cat6A UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) patch cord designed for high-density network environments. Its 28 AWG solid conductor construction and compact 0.185-inch diameter jacket simplify cable management in racks and cabinets, reducing airflow obstruction. The integrated tangle-free latch ensures secure connections and easy disconnection, streamlining moves, adds, and changes. Pre-installed RapidID barcodes facilitate efficient port mapping with compatible software.

Compatibility

This patch cord meets ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA standards, supporting 10GBASE-T Ethernet up to 500 MHz. It is suitable for data center consolidation, server virtualization, and high-speed computing applications. The cable supports IEEE 802.3af/at Power over Ethernet (PoE) for up to 48 cables in a bundle and 802.3bt Type 3/4 (PoE++) for up to 24 cables in a bundle, ensuring sufficient power delivery for connected devices without overheating.

Constructed with a CM/LSZH (CM/Low Smoke Zero Halogen) flammability rating, this cable is suitable for use in riser or plenum spaces where required.
