Overview

The Panduit UTP28X7VL is a 7-foot Category 6A UTP patch cord designed for high-speed networking applications. Its compact 28 AWG solid conductor design simplifies installation in dense environments like data centers, supporting 10GBASE-T Ethernet and Power over Ethernet (PoE++) up to 802.3bt standards. The violet color aids in visual network identification, and the tangle-free latch ensures secure connections and easy disconnection for moves, adds, and changes.

Compatibility

This patch cord is engineered to exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA performance requirements up to 500 MHz. It is suitable for 10GBASE-T Ethernet, data center I/O consolidation, server virtualization, backbone aggregation, and high-speed computing applications. It supports IEEE 802.3af/at and 802.3bt (type 3 and type 4) PoE applications, accommodating up to 48 cables in a bundle for 802.3af/at and 24 cables for 802.3bt.

Constructed with 28 AWG solid conductors, this cable offers a reduced diameter of 0.185 inches (4.7mm), facilitating easier routing and management in high-density racks. The cable features a patented tangle-free latch that prevents snagging during installation and removal, streamlining network maintenance. Pre-installed barcodes for RapidID software simplify port mapping and asset management.
