Overview

The CX-95S-3E is a 3-inch extension bar for Camden CX-95S magnetic door holder systems. Use this accessory when the standard magnet-to-armature distance requires offset — common in heavy-frame doors, retrofit installations, or when the magnet plate and armature cannot sit flush-aligned. The 3-inch length allows flexible positioning without compromising holding force of the parent CX-95S unit.

Compatibility

The CX-95S-3E integrates directly with Camden CX-95S-DH and CX-95S-DH-FL magnetic door holders in surface, flush, and floor mount configurations. Installation requires the compatible CX-95S base unit — the extension bar alone does not operate independently. Works with all voltage options supported by the parent unit: 12/24V AC/DC and 120V AC.

Installation Notes

The extension bar mounts between the magnet assembly and door frame using the same fastening pattern as the standard CX-95S installation. Mounting hardware is included with the base CX-95S unit; verify bolt length accommodates the additional 3-inch offset when fastening. No additional wiring or power draw changes — the extension bar is a passive mechanical component. For applications exceeding 3 inches, a 7-inch extension bar variant (CX-95S-7E) is available in the same family.
