Compatibility

The CX-95S-3E-BK integrates with the Camden CX-95S-DH series magnetic door holders in all mount configurations (surface, flush, and floor mount variants). It is compatible with the black-finish CX-95S-DH-BK holder and works with any standard armature plate from the CX-95S family. The bar is designed for door-mounted installations where the electromagnet and strike must be separated beyond the magnet's inherent depth — typical in retrofit projects, metal frame doors, or applications where the reader sensor sits recessed behind the door surface.

Installation Notes

Mount the extension bar directly to the door frame or door surface using the same fastening points as the base magnet. The bar maintains mechanical alignment when properly secured — ensure fasteners are torqued evenly to prevent binding on the armature plate. Works with all voltage configurations of the CX-95S-DH (12/24V AC/DC, 120V AC), as the bar itself is passive and carries no electrical load. Verify door weight capacity (typically 35 lbs maximum hold force at 24V) accounts for the full assembly mass after extension.
