Overview

The APC by Schneider Electric SRT8KXLI is an 8kVA / 8000W double-conversion online UPS designed for environments where power anomalies are not an option — server rooms, network operations centers, video surveillance infrastructure, and critical commercial installations running on 230V single-phase power. Unlike standby or line-interactive topologies, the SRT8KXLI regenerates output power continuously from its inverter, meaning connected equipment never sees raw utility power. Every voltage sag, swell, harmonic distortion, and switching transient is absorbed before it reaches your load.

With a wide input voltage acceptance range of 100–476V and input frequency tolerance of 40–70Hz, the SRT8KXLI handles poor-quality utility feeds without switching to battery — a critical factor in environments with generator-backed power or facilities in regions with unstable grids. This extends battery life considerably compared to units that transfer to battery at narrower thresholds.
