i-PRO MC-TM400 Altronix TM400 Enclosure
The MC-TM400 is an Altronix TM400-class enclosure for housing access-control or low-voltage power and accessory hardware. It is a rugged steel enclosure with knockout panels and an internal mounting plate, designed to keep field installations clean, secure, and easy to service. Using a purpose-built enclosure greatly improves the long-term reliability and serviceability of any low-voltage system.

A clean enclosure pays off every time a technician returns to the site. Tidy cable lacing, labeled terminations, and organized power and signal paths make troubleshooting faster, reduce the risk of accidental shorts during service, and make handover to a new install team straightforward. By contrast, a power supply bolted to bare drywall with cables hanging loose is the kind of install that costs an hour of detective work on every service call.
Mount the enclosure at an accessible height in the IDF or rear-of-house space. Plan the cable entries to keep AC mains separate from low-voltage signals (typically AC on one side, DC on the other). Run a ground bond from the enclosure to building earth. Label every fuse, output channel, and signal pair so a technician new to the site can troubleshoot without an as-built drawing. Wire the tamper switch to the panel.
