Overview

The STI STI-EM111103 is an 11x11x3 inch metal protective cabinet engineered for secure mounting of access control electronics, strike assemblies, and system components in commercial installations. This enclosure solves the problem of protecting equipment from tampering and environmental exposure without requiring structural modification to your door frame or wall. The cabinet mounts directly to existing threaded studs using the EM1212DOC-U bracket — no drilling, no fasteners into new locations.

Compatibility

Designed for integration with STI access control systems and compatible with standard electronic strike assemblies, lock cylinders, and control modules that mount to 11-inch-wide enclosures. Works with thumb lock assemblies (H07504 type) and accepts knockout provisions for conduit and wiring pass-through. Fits door frame studs on standard commercial entrance systems without modification.

Installation Notes

Mount the cabinet using existing threaded studs on your door frame or wall—do not drill new holes. Four sealing washers are included to prevent water and dust ingress at mounting points. Lock cylinder installs by punching out the knockout with a pry tool and inserting the cylinder through the hole. Knockout remains intact until required. Four 0.1875-inch diameter knockout holes are pre-drilled for conduit entry; leave knockouts sealed until you need them.
