The STI-EM111504 is a 11 × 15 × 4 inch metal protective cabinet designed for access control and secure equipment housing. This compact form factor mounts directly into existing security system enclosures where physical protection and environmental sealing are required — typical deployments include indoor equipment rooms, electrical closets, and retrofit installations where drilling new mounting holes is not an option. The cabinet provides a durable housing envelope without requiring substrate modification.

Compatibility

Mounts using the EM1212DOC-U system, which fastens to existing threaded studs on compatible enclosure frames — no new drilling required. Four sealing washers are included to ensure moisture and dust ingress protection at mounting points. Intended for integration into STI access control system architectures and compatible third-party enclosure designs using standard 0.1875-inch knockout provisions.

Installation Notes

Lock installation involves punching out the lock cylinder knockout with a pry tool, then inserting the lock cylinder through the knockout hole. Mount USB holders (if equipped) on existing threaded studs; do not drill new holes. Four knockout positions (Ø 0.1875 inch each) remain intact until required — preserve them unless your installation specifically needs the opening. Cabinet depth is 4.3 inches overall; verify clearance behind the mounting surface before final placement. Sealing washers must be installed at all stud contact points to maintain environmental seal integrity.
