Overview

The ACTi CMS-100 is a compact 1-bay standalone content management system designed to centralize recording and management of up to 800 IP cameras without external servers or cloud dependencies. Built around an Intel Core i7-8700 processor with 8GB DDR4 memory, the CMS-100 operates independently in mid-to-large surveillance deployments. The system supports simultaneous multi-client access — up to 1 local client and 5 remote clients — and delivers video from ACTi cameras in all supported resolutions via H.265, H.264, and MJPEG compression. ONVIF Profile S compliance enables integration with mixed-vendor IP camera ecosystems.

Compatibility

The CMS-100 is engineered to record and manage all ACTi IP cameras across all resolution families — no model-specific limitations. Because it supports ONVIF-compliant devices, integration with non-ACTi cameras is possible, though ACTi camera ecosystems will provide the deepest feature support (e.g., firmware updates, optimized codec profiles, two-way audio). The system connects via dual Gigabit Ethernet ports (1000 Base-T, RJ-45), allowing network flexibility for redundancy or separation of management and recording traffic.

Installation Notes

Operating temperature range is 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F) — confirm ambient cooling before rack installation in tight spaces. The unit draws power from AC 100–240V via built-in power adapter (UL-certified). Dual Gigabit Ethernet connections require standard network infrastructure; no special wiring beyond RJ-45 cabling is needed. The system provides two-way audio input (mic-in and line-in) and line-out, plus manual GPS position setting for asset tracking and e-map integration. Layout and multi-display support accommodate up to 225 grid cells (15×15 arrangement), enabling flexible wall monitoring configurations. Fisheye dewarping is available in live view, playback, and export modes.
