ACTi ENR-130 16-Channel 2-Bay Desktop Standalone NVR 48Mbps
Overview
The ENR-130 is a 16-channel, 2-bay desktop NVR built for small-to-medium commercial surveillance deployments where you need local recording without server complexity. The 48Mbps throughput ceiling accommodates mid-resolution multi-stream recording — typical for retail, office, or light industrial environments running a mix of 1MP to 3MP IP cameras. Desktop form factor fits standard workspaces; two drive bays allow redundancy or capacity expansion using standard 3.5" SATA drives (disks not included). Remote access via web interface enables off-site monitoring and playback without requiring a separate VMS license.
Compatibility
The ENR-130 works with any ONVIF-compliant IP camera — no lock-in to ACTi optics, though ACTi's own camera line (e.g., E-series domes, B-series bullets) integrate without extra configuration. Total channel load must respect the 48Mbps aggregate throughput; at H.265 compression, you can typically fit 14–16 channels of 2MP @ 15 fps or 8–12 channels of 3MP @ 20 fps depending on scene complexity. Wired Ethernet connection required; gigabit switch recommended for stable performance across all 16 channels simultaneously.
Installation Notes
Power via standard AC mains (110–240V, 50/60 Hz) — no PoE involved. Install in a climate-controlled space; operating temperature range is 0–40°C (32–104°F). Position with adequate ventilation; the unit has passive cooling. Network setup uses standard RJ45; assign a static IP address in your surveillance subnet to avoid discovery conflicts. Both drive bays accept 3.5" SATA III drives up to 12TB each for maximum 24TB total capacity — configure as RAID 1 for failover or RAID 0 for capacity if local redundancy is not critical.
