Overview

The ACTi A87 is a 5MP outdoor zoom dome designed for wide-area surveillance where field-of-view adjustment matters without relocating the camera. The 2.8–12mm varifocal lens delivers 4.3x optical zoom, letting you dial in coverage from broad perimeter monitoring to tighter detail capture—valuable in installations where a single fixed focal length creates coverage gaps. Built for unforgiving outdoor environments: IP66 rating handles high-pressure water jets; IK10 vandal resistance withstands significant mechanical impact; NEMA 4X stainless-steel construction resists coastal corrosion. Image quality is anchored by 5MP (3096×2202) progressive-scan CMOS sensor delivering 1300 TVL horizontal resolution.
