Overview
The VE8952R is the receiver component of ATEN's VE8952 HDMI over IP extension system, designed for AV distribution deployments where you need to push 4K signals across a standard Cat5e or Cat6 infrastructure without dedicated coax or fiber runs. It extends HDMI video up to 100 meters point-to-point at 4K resolution (4096x2160 or 3840x2160 at 30Hz, 4:4:4 color space) — covering most commercial floor layouts without signal degradation. The receiver outputs via a single HDMI Type A port and includes a 3.5mm stereo audio jack for local speaker connection, separating audio delivery from the HDMI run where needed.
