Overview

The ATEN VW884 is a 4-port HDMI output expansion board designed for installation into ATEN VW-series video wall controllers. Each port supports up to 4096x2160 or 3840x2160 at 60Hz with full 4:4:4 chroma, meaning no color subsampling artifacts on high-contrast content like maps, dashboards, or fine text overlays. The board also includes a selectable scaler, with output presets down to 1280x720 at refresh rates from 24 through 60Hz — useful when a portion of your display wall runs lower-resolution panels and you need to avoid overscan or signal negotiation failures.
