The A83 pairs a 2MP sensor with a 2.8–12mm motorized lens (4.3x optical zoom) to capture medium to wide coverage without requiring multiple fixed-focal cameras. This zoom flexibility lets you adjust field of view post-installation via the management interface, reducing on-site site surveys and re-mounting labor.

Built for outdoor durability: IP66 (complete dust ingress protection, high-pressure jets) and IK10 (vandal resistance to 20 joules of impact) qualification means the dome survives saltwater environments, winter snow, and accidental contact. Operating range of –40°C to 50°C covers arctic, temperate, and desert deployments without performance loss. Extreme WDR at 142dB handles backlit scenes (sunlit doorways against dim interior corridors) without the halo artifacts that plague cheaper WDR implementations. Color minimum illumination of 0.002 lux at F1.4, combined with 12x adaptive 850nm IR LEDs and 30m IR working distance, delivers monochrome surveillance in near-total darkness.
