Overview
The Middle Atlantic PHBL-2 is a 2U (3.5 in.) solid aluminum blank panel designed to close unused rack space in standard 19-inch enclosures. At 19.00 in. wide and 3.5 in. tall, PHBL-2 fills two rack units cleanly — blocking dust ingress and discouraging cable intrusion through open bays without adding depth or hardware complexity. The flat, 1/8 in. thick aluminum construction keeps the panel rigid without warping under adjacent equipment weight. Black powder coat finish matches standard rack aesthetics and resists corrosion in equipment room and closet environments.
Compatibility
Fits any Middle Atlantic rack enclosure or third-party rack that follows the EIA-310 19-inch standard — including open-frame two-post and four-post racks, wall-mount enclosures, and rack cabinets with standard 1.75 in. per-unit rail spacing. Two rack units of panel space required. Compatible with Middle Atlantic ERK, BGR, WMRK, and comparable rack families. Also integrates without issue alongside NVR rack builds and rack accessory installations where unused bays need to be blanked. No proprietary rail or clip system required — mounts via standard rack screws.
Installation Notes
Mounts to rack rails using standard 10-32 or 12-24 rack screws (not included — source per your rack rail thread type). Flat design requires no rear support or cage nut adapters beyond what your rack already provides. Panel occupies exactly 2U; verify open bay count before ordering multiples. No tools beyond a screwdriver required.
