Overview

Rated for AX1800 performance (up to 1.8Gbps), it integrates seamlessly into existing NETGEAR mesh networks using a single WiFi name and smart roaming. The 1.5GHz quad-core processor handles 4K UHD streaming and gaming workloads without bogging down the backhaul. The integrated 1 Gigabit Ethernet port allows you to connect wired devices (printers, NAS, set-top boxes) at the extender location, eliminating the need for a separate switch.
Compatibility
Works with any existing NETGEAR WiFi router or mesh system that supports mesh-compatible modes. The extender bridges wirelessly using WPS (WiFi Protected Setup) or manual pairing through the Nighthawk app, so no firmware updates to the primary router are required.
