The Altronix MAXIMAL1RV is a rack-mountable power distribution unit designed to provide reliable, fused power to multiple surveillance devices. It offers selectable 12VDC or 24VDC output, making it versatile for various camera and accessory installations. This unit is ideal for centralizing power in server racks or control rooms, simplifying wiring and management for distributed systems. The MAXIMAL1RV handles a total of 4A output current across its 16 fused outputs.
Compatibility
This unit is designed for use with 12VDC or 24VDC powered surveillance equipment. It is compatible with Altronix ACM8R modules for expanded output control and current monitoring. The 220VAC input voltage requirement means it integrates into standard international power infrastructure.
Installation Notes
Input voltage range is 198VAC to 256VAC at 50/60Hz, drawing a maximum of 1.0 amp. Each of the 16 outputs is individually fused, providing protection for connected devices. The unit supports a total output current of 4A, with a maximum of 3A per individual output when not using an ACM8R module. When an ACM8R is used, each output on the module is limited to 2.5A. The integrated battery charger provides 0.7A for backup power solutions.
