Altronix MAXIMAL1RHV Power Distribution Module

Overview

The Altronix MAXIMAL1RHV is a compact power distribution module designed to provide multiple fused outputs for 12VDC or 24VDC surveillance equipment. It addresses the need for organized and protected power delivery in systems where a single power source must feed several devices, such as cameras, access control readers, or network switches. This unit is ideal for installations requiring clean, regulated power distribution within a confined space, such as inside enclosures or control cabinets.

Compatibility

This module is designed to accept a single input voltage (selectable 12VDC or 24VDC) and distribute it across eight individually fused outputs. It is compatible with a wide range of 12VDC and 24VDC powered surveillance devices, including IP cameras, analog cameras, PTZ controllers, IR illuminators, and network switches that operate within these voltage parameters. The fused outputs protect downstream equipment from overcurrent conditions, making it suitable for systems utilizing power supplies from brands like Altronix, Pelco, Axis, Hanwha, and others, provided the voltage and current requirements are met.

Installation Notes

The MAXIMAL1RHV requires a single 12VDC or 24VDC input from a central power supply. Each of the eight outputs can be individually fused using standard automotive-style fuses (not included), allowing for tailored protection for each connected device. The module supports a maximum input current of 4A at 12VDC or 3A at 24VDC. It features a DIN rail mountable design for easy integration into standard electrical enclosures. Ensure proper ventilation around the module and connected power supply to prevent overheating.
