Overview

The Altronix eFlow6N8V is a versatile power supply and battery charger designed for surveillance and access control systems requiring reliable 12VDC or 24VDC power. It converts a 220VAC input into eight individually fuse-protected outputs, delivering up to 6A total current. This unit is ideal for installations where multiple devices need stable, fused power distribution, such as powering cameras, access control readers, or network switches. The integrated Fire Alarm Disconnect (FAI) feature allows for supervised shutdown in emergency situations, enhancing system safety. Its design ensures seamless transition to battery backup during AC power failures, maintaining operational continuity for critical equipment.

Compatibility

This power supply is compatible with sealed lead acid or gel type batteries (sold separately) for backup power. It provides selectable 12VDC or 24VDC output voltages, suitable for a wide range of low-voltage security devices. The eFlow6N8V features AC fail supervision with form "C" contacts, providing notification when AC power is lost. This supervision trigger is selectable for 30 seconds or 10 minutes, preventing nuisance alarms. It also includes overvoltage protection and low power disconnect to safeguard batteries from deep discharge, extending their lifespan.
