Overview

The Altronix eFlow6NX8DV is a 220VAC power supply and charger designed for surveillance and access control systems requiring reliable, distributed power. It converts a 198VAC - 256VAC, 50/60Hz input into eight (8) individually PTC-protected 12VDC or 24VDC outputs, totaling 6.0A. This unit includes an unswitched auxiliary output rated at 1A, a supervised Fire Alarm Disconnect (FAI) feature for integration with fire alarm systems, and low power disconnect to protect stand-by batteries from deep discharge. Its design is suitable for installations where multiple devices need stable power from a single, robust source.

Compatibility

This power supply is designed for use with sealed lead acid or gel type batteries (sold separately). The unit supports 12VDC or 24VDC output configurations, making it compatible with a wide range of low-voltage security devices including IP cameras, access control readers, door strikes, and network switches that require up to 6.0A total current draw across its eight outputs. The FAI feature is compatible with supervised fire alarm panel outputs, supporting both latching and non-latching notification triggers.

The unit provides eight PTC-protected outputs, each rated for 2A, with a total supply current of 6.0A. The maximum battery charge current is 1.54A. AC fail supervision is provided via form "C" contacts, with a selectable notification trigger of 30 seconds (factory default) or 2 hours. The enclosure dimensions are 12.25"W x 15.5"H x 4.5"D.
