Description

Altronix EFLOW102N16V Power Supply Charger

Overview

The Altronix EFLOW102N16V is a 220VAC power supply and battery charger designed for surveillance and access control systems requiring distributed, fused power. It converts 220VAC input into sixteen individually fused 12VDC outputs, totaling 10A, plus an unswitched 1A auxiliary output. This unit is ideal for installations where individual circuit protection is mandated or desired, preventing a single fault from disabling multiple devices. The integrated fire alarm disconnect (FAI) feature allows for system shutdown upon receiving a fire alarm signal, a critical requirement in many commercial installations. It is housed in a BC300 enclosure, suitable for wall mounting.

Compatibility

This power supply is designed to power a wide range of 12VDC security devices, including IP cameras, access control readers, electric strikes, and other low-voltage surveillance equipment. It is compatible with standard 12VDC sealed lead-acid or gel batteries, supporting up to a 12VDC/7AH battery for backup. The unit's supervision outputs (AC Fail and Battery Fail) are compatible with most alarm panels and VMS systems that accept dry contact closures.

Installation Notes

The EFLOW102N16V requires a 220VAC input (198VAC - 256VAC, 50/60Hz) protected by a 5A/250V fuse. Each of the sixteen outputs is individually fused and rated for 2.5A. The total supply current for all 12VDC outputs combined is 10A. The auxiliary output is rated for 1A unswitched. The unit supports a 12VDC/7AH battery, sold separately, for backup power. AC Fail supervision is selectable for 30-second or 2-hour notification triggers via form C contacts. Battery Fail supervision is also provided via form C contacts. The enclosure dimensions are 13"W x 13.5"H x 3.25"D.
