Overview

The Vertiv PD5-202 is a UPS Power Output Distribution Module designed to expand the output capacity of compatible Liebert GXT5 High Voltage (HV) Uninterruptible Power Supply systems. This module is essential for deployments requiring multiple, distinct power feeds from a single UPS, ensuring critical IT infrastructure receives reliable, conditioned power. Specifically, the PD5-202 provides two IEC C19 outlets and four IEC C13 outlets, suitable for distributing power to servers, network switches, and other rack-mounted equipment in a data center or enterprise environment.

Compatibility

This distribution module is engineered exclusively for the Vertiv GXT5 High Voltage (HV) UPS models: GXT5-8000HVRT5UXLN and GXT5-10KHVRT5UXLN. It is not compatible with Low Voltage (LV) GXT5 models or other UPS brands. Proper integration ensures the UPS can safely manage and distribute its power output to connected devices.

Installation Notes

The PD5-202 requires a hardwired input connection to the compatible GXT5 HV UPS. The output connections are (2) IEC C19 and (4) IEC C13 sockets. Ensure that the total power draw of connected equipment does not exceed the UPS and module's rated capacity to prevent overload. Installation should be performed by qualified personnel familiar with UPS systems and electrical wiring practices.
