Overview
The Ubiquiti UVC-G6-BULLET-B is an 8MP 4K PoE bullet camera purpose-built for UniFi Protect centralized video management. Draws power and network connectivity from a single PoE cable—no separate power supply or conduit runs—simplifying installation on building perimeters, entry points, and monitored corridors. The 1/1.8" image sensor and integrated Multi-TOPS AI engine handle motion detection and event classification at the camera edge, reducing false alarms and network overhead on your UniFi Protect console. Fixed lens architecture targets standard deployment distances without pan-tilt complexity.
Compatibility
The UVC-G6-BULLET-B integrates directly into UniFi Protect software infrastructure. Works across UniFi Dream Machines, UniFi Network Appliances, and UniFi Protect NVR systems running current UniFi OS versions. Requires PoE (802.3af or higher) from a PoE-capable switch or injector in your UniFi network stack. Firmware updates flow through the UniFi console—no separate management interface needed.
Installation Notes
Mount on eaves, wall brackets, or soffit locations using standard 1/4"-20 threads. The compact bullet form factor positions discrete installations without protruding far from the mounting surface. Verify PoE switch capacity before provisioning—the G6-BULLET draws measurable current; confirm your switch or injector has available PoE budget. For climate-controlled or protected installations. Not rated for prolonged salt spray, extreme high-heat, or direct submersion; coastal and harsh outdoor environments demand Ubiquiti's environmental-hardened variants instead.
