Overview

The Ubiquiti UP-VIEWPORT is a network streaming appliance purpose-built to deliver UniFi Protect camera feeds to standard HDMI displays in real time. Unlike traditional monitor solutions, the UP-VIEWPORT integrates directly with UniFi Protect infrastructure, enabling synchronization of live video across your security deployment without introducing additional servers or management overhead. This compact form factor (0.75 lb) connects via a single Gigabit Ethernet port and draws power via PoE, eliminating the need for separate power supplies. Deploy it in dispatch centers, security operations centers, retail environments, and campus monitoring locations where centralized camera management is required.

Compatibility

The UP-VIEWPORT is designed exclusively for UniFi Protect ecosystems. It streams live camera feeds from any UniFi Protect–managed IP camera within your network and outputs to any HDMI-equipped monitor or display. It does not record, archive, or perform analytics — it is strictly a live display appliance. If your deployment requires recording, multi-site aggregation, or analytics beyond live monitoring, integrate a UniFi Protect NVR system instead.

Installation Notes

Connect the UP-VIEWPORT to your network via Gigabit Ethernet (1000Base-T) and supply power via standard 802.3af PoE from a PoE-enabled switch or injector. Connect the HDMI output to your display. The appliance synchronizes automatically with your UniFi Protect controller over the network — no additional configuration or software installation is required beyond standard UniFi management provisioning.
