Overview
The UC-DISPLAY is a 21.5-inch Full HD touchscreen engineered as a guest-facing or management interface for UniFi Connect deployments. It pulls power and network via a single PoE++ connection—no separate electrical circuit required—making it practical for lobbies, reception desks, access checkpoints, and facility-management kiosks where running dedicated power would complicate installation. The display runs at 95W via PoE++, within the 90W delivery envelope of current-generation switches. It includes a VESA mount adapter, accommodating both wall and stand mounting. The touchscreen integrates directly with UniFi Connect for visitor management, access-control credential display, occupancy data, and real-time facility alerts.
Compatibility
The UC-DISPLAY pairs with UniFi Connect management systems and UniFi PoE++ switches—including UniFi Switches in the Pro and Enterprise lines. PoE++ power delivery requires a compatible switch; standard PoE or PoE+ will not operate the display. The display connects via standard Ethernet to any UniFi or third-party network infrastructure supporting PoE++ (IEEE 802.3bt, minimum 90W). Firmware updates and configuration occur through the UniFi Controller or UniFi Dream Machine—centralized management across distributed deployments.
Installation Notes
Mount the display using the included VESA adapter on a wall bracket, stand, or arm rated for 3.9 lb. Run a single PoE++ Ethernet cable from a compatible switch port—no additional power supply, no separate electrical conduit. Verify the source switch can deliver 90W on the target port. The display operates in standard office temperature ranges; confirm climate control if deployed in unheated or uncooled spaces. Once powered and connected, provision the display through the UniFi Controller by adding it as a new UniFi Connect endpoint.
