Ubiquiti U6-EXTENDER WiFi 6 Wall-Mount Extender

Overview

The U6-EXTENDER extends UniFi WiFi 6 network coverage into dead zones and remote areas. Designed for standard UD duplex wall socket mounting, it delivers 4.8 Gbps on 5 GHz (802.11ax) and 573.5 Mbps on 2.4 GHz across 1,250 ft². Supports up to 250+ concurrent clients with 6 spatial streams, 4×4 MIMO on 5 GHz, and 2×2 MIMO on 2.4 GHz. Universal AC power input (100–240V) draws 11W maximum.

Compatibility

Integrates seamlessly into UniFi wireless networks via wireless meshing and band steering. Supports 802.11v BSS Transition Management, 802.11r Fast Roaming, 802.11k Radio Resource Management, and Bluetooth management. Guest networks, VLAN isolation, RADIUS over TLS (RadSec), and dynamic RADIUS-assigned VLANs enable enterprise-grade access control. Compatible with captive portal authentication, voucher systems, and payment-based hotspot models.
