The UE330 is a compact 2-in-1 adapter that adds three USB 3.0 ports and one Gigabit Ethernet port to any device with a single USB 3.0 upstream connection. This solves a real constraint in mobile security systems, rugged field computers, and warehouse automation controllers where you need both additional USB peripherals (scanners, external drives, surveillance cards) and wired network access without burning through limited onboard ports. The Gigabit Ethernet uplink delivers up to 1000 Mbps without consuming a dedicated USB slot—critical when your host has just one available port.
The UE330 works with any USB 3.0–equipped system running Windows, macOS, Linux, or Chrome OS. It is backward compatible with USB 2.0 ports (at reduced speed), so older embedded systems and legacy security controllers can use it if USB 3.0 is unavailable. The Gigabit Ethernet port supports standard 10/100/1000 Mbps networks with RJ45 connectors. Integration is platform-agnostic; no drivers are required on modern operating systems—the hub and adapter enumerate as standard USB and Ethernet devices out of the box.
Plug the single upstream USB 3.0 connector into the host device. Connect peripherals to any of the three downstream USB 3.0 ports. Attach an Ethernet cable to the RJ45 port for wired network connectivity. The hub draws power entirely from the host USB port; no external power supply is needed. If you attach multiple power-hungry peripherals (high-current external drives, industrial scanners), verify the host USB port can supply sufficient current—if not, use a powered USB hub instead. The compact form factor (1.2 × 0.9 × 3.8 in.) fits tight mounting spaces in vehicle-mounted or rack-integrated security systems.
