TP-Link TL-SG1210PP 10-Port Gigabit PoE Switch
Overview
The TL-SG1210PP is a compact desktop Gigabit switch with 10 ports (8 PoE-capable, 2 non-PoE, plus 1 SFP combo slot) and 123W PoE power budget. It's engineered for small-to-medium IP surveillance, access control, and IoT deployments where you need to inject power directly into networked devices without separate PSU runs. The 250m extend mode on ports 1–4 stretches PoE delivery distance — useful for remote gate access points or camera drops beyond standard 100m Ethernet reach.
Compatibility
Works with any standard 802.3af/at/bt (PoE/PoE+/PoE++) networked device: IP cameras, NVRs, access control readers, VoIP phones, wireless APs. The switch supports mode isolation (ports 1–4 and 5–8 separate broadcast domains if needed), which prevents broadcast storms when deploying multiple device types on the same network segment. Non-PoE ports 9–10 accept standard Gigabit devices. The SFP combo slot accepts Gigabit fiber modules for uplinks to distant core switches or media converters.
Installation Notes
Desktop form factor with two wall-mounting holes (hole distance varies by region per mounting spec). Requires a 4#–8# ANSI-standard screw with minimum 7.5–8.5mm length and 1.5mm clearance from wall. Mount upright with ports facing down and LEDs facing up for best airflow. Plug-and-play operation—no configuration required for basic switching. PoE auto-recovery on ports 1–8 resets a port if an attached device draws excessive current, preventing power-supply lock-out. Priority mode (ports 1–2) guarantees power delivery if the 123W budget is exhausted on other ports.
