The EAP660 HD operates as a standards-compliant 802.11ax (WiFi 6) access point. It pairs with any ONVIF-compatible IP camera, NVR, or network device that supports 802.11ax, 802.11ac (5 GHz), or 802.11n (2.4 GHz) — meaning it works across Axis, Hikvision, Dahua, Uniview, and other major surveillance brands without proprietary integration. Enterprise controller management via TP-Link Omada or third-party cloud platforms is supported. Wired uplink requires gigabit Ethernet; multi-gig Ethernet enables full AX3600 throughput potential.
Installation Notes
Ceiling mount installation requires secure fastening to structural supports — verify load rating and anchor type for your ceiling system. The unit draws power via PoE+ (802.3at, 30W typical); confirm your switch or injector can deliver sufficient wattage if daisy-chaining multiple APs. Position away from metal ductwork and large RF-reflective surfaces to minimize multipath degradation in high-density camera deployments.
