Overview
The CPE210 is a fixed outdoor 2.4GHz access point engineered for point-to-point and point-to-multipoint bridging where wired infrastructure is impractical. At 27dBm transmit power with a 9dBi directional antenna, it concentrates RF energy in a focused pattern — reducing multipath interference and extending usable range across industrial sites, campuses, and warehouse perimeters. Operating at 300Mbps (802.11b/g/n with 2T2R), the CPE210 connects isolated security cameras, access control systems, or surveillance NVRs back to a central hub over wireless without requiring power runs to the mounting location. Passive PoE delivery simplifies pole and rooftop installations.
Compatibility
The CPE210 integrates with any standard 802.11b/g/n client or access point in the 2.4GHz band. Deploy as a wireless bridge in fixed-location outdoor scenarios — pairing with network switches at the hub to fan out to multiple distributed CPE210 units in spoke-hub or mesh topologies. High sensitivity reception compensates for path loss over distance, supporting Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) coordination across multi-unit deployments and central controller support for simplified management across multiple access points. Not suitable for mobile or roaming scenarios; the directional antenna pattern is optimized for fixed-point wireless links.
Installation Notes
Mount on poles, masts, or building edges using the weatherproof enclosure. Passive PoE eliminates dedicated power drops — wire directly from a PoE injector or PoE-equipped network switch. The directional antenna requires line-of-sight or near-line-of-sight to the remote unit for optimal performance; plan positioning to minimize obstructions. UV-rated enclosure tolerates outdoor temperature, humidity, and solar exposure in commercial and industrial environments.
