Overview
The ARCHER T3U is a compact USB 3.0 WiFi adapter delivering AC1300 dual-band throughput (867 Mbps on 5 GHz, 400 Mbps on 2.4 GHz). MU-MIMO support means multiple connected devices on the same band don't serialize their traffic — each gets dedicated spatial streams when available. This fits laptop and desktop builds where internal WiFi is absent, weak, or unreliable, and you need fast, stable 5 GHz coverage without a full external antenna tower.
Compatibility
The ARCHER T3U connects via USB 3.0 port on Windows, macOS, and Linux systems. Driver support covers Windows 7 through Windows 11, current macOS versions, and major Linux distributions. Verify your OS version and available USB 3.0 port before purchasing — older laptops with USB 2.0 only will function but at reduced speed. The nano form factor (compact plastic housing) avoids blocking adjacent USB ports on most designs.
Installation Notes
