ACTi PMAX-0111 Straight Tube Mounting Accessory
Overview
The PMAX-0111 is a straight tube mount designed to extend and position ACTi IP cameras away from wall or ceiling mounting surfaces. This accessory solves the common installation problem of insufficient standoff distance — when a direct flush mount won't work because of architectural obstruction, cable routing constraints, or the need to angle coverage away from surfaces. Use it to achieve precise positioning for D5x, D9x, E5x, E9x, and E9xx/M camera bodies without additional adapters or non-standard rigging.
Compatibility
The PMAX-0111 is designed for ACTi D-series and E-series camera bodies: D5x models, D9x models, E5x models, E9x models, and E9xx/M variants. Verify your specific camera model against the compatible list before ordering — this tube is engineered to interface with the standard mount point on these families only. Do not use with ACTi B-series, I-series, or other product lines.
Installation Notes
Mounting tube is 3.0 lbs (lightweight aluminum construction). Installation requires the appropriate base bracket (sold separately) and standard fasteners for your mounting surface (wall or ceiling). Ensure the tube is properly aligned and fully tightened at both the camera and base connection points before securing the cable run. Environmental ratings for the tube itself are unaffected by temperature or weather exposure when mounted indoors; for outdoor installations, verify that the camera body's IP rating meets your environmental requirement, as the tube does not upgrade weatherproofing.
