Overview
The ACTi PMAX-0506 is a pole mounting bracket engineered for ACTi compact network cameras in outdoor and elevated deployments. It accommodates 2 to 3 inch diameter poles, solving the common installation challenge of positioning surveillance cameras at height without relying on wall or ceiling infrastructure. This makes it a practical fit for perimeter fencing, parking lot poles, utility structures, and industrial sites where pole-based mounting is the only option.
Compatibility
The PMAX-0506 is designed specifically for ACTi A31, A4x, E78, E9x, and E9xx series cameras. All compatible models are PoE-powered compact cameras, which simplifies the installation because power runs and camera lines consolidate into a single Ethernet cable run to your network switch or PoE injector. No separate power supplies are needed at the pole.
Installation Notes
The pole mount is sized to grip poles between 2 and 3 inches in diameter — confirm your pole falls within this range before ordering. The bracket itself is manufactured in Taiwan and weighs 1.1 lbs, so mounting hardware and torque specifications should be verified against the camera's quick-start guide for proper load distribution. Since the compatible camera series draws power via PoE (802.3af), standard network cabling can run down or alongside the pole to your switch; no additional conduit is required for power lines.
