The PMAX-0513 is a pole-mounted bracket designed to attach ACTi Z-series cameras to vertical pole structures in outdoor surveillance deployments. This mount eliminates roof or wall penetration, making it ideal for integrators working on utility poles, light standards, or fence-line installations where standard wall or ceiling mounts are not an option. The bracket supports fixed positioning without pan-tilt articulation—choose this when your camera angle is predetermined and you need a simple, stable platform.
Compatibility
The PMAX-0513 is engineered for ACTi Z950 and Z952 camera models. Both cameras operate on PoE (802.3af) power delivery, so once mounted on the pole bracket, they integrate directly into your existing PoE-powered network infrastructure. No separate power injector or external supply is required. This compatibility ensures a clean installation without additional power cabling runs.
Installation Notes
Pole-mounted installations require secure attachment to a vertical support structure. Verify that your pole diameter and material (steel or composite) are compatible with the bracket's clamping mechanism. Install the mount at a height and angle that provides clear line-of-sight to your target zone. Account for prevailing wind loads and vibration from traffic or equipment near the pole—vibration can degrade image sharpness if the bracket is loose. Use a torque wrench to tighten all fasteners per the mounting template provided. Outdoor pole installations should be inspected seasonally, especially in high-wind or corrosive-salt environments, to ensure fasteners remain secure.
