ACTi PMAX-0112 Extension Tube
Overview
The PMAX-0112 is an extension tube designed to add vertical or horizontal reach to ACTi camera mounting installations. Deploy this accessory when standard bracket clearance is insufficient—typically in confined ceiling cavities, under soffit overhangs, or wall recesses where you need the camera body positioned beyond the depth of a direct mount. PoE passthrough means no additional power provisioning; the tube carries 802.3af/at power inline to the camera.
Compatibility
The PMAX-0112 supports ACTi D-series cameras (D5x, D9x) and E-series cameras (E5x, E9x, E9xx/M). Verify your specific model number against this family before ordering—compatibility is limited to these ranges. The tube integrates within standard IP surveillance infrastructure without requiring auxiliary power supplies or custom wiring.
Installation Notes
Mount the extension tube between your bracket and the camera body using the provided fasteners. Ensure PoE cable routing through the tube avoids sharp bends that could crimp conductors; a 2-inch minimum bend radius is standard practice for twisted-pair cabling. The tube itself is passive—no power consumption, no configuration. Weight and environmental exposure to the camera remain unchanged; the tube adds only length, not additional structural load on the bracket.
