Overview
The STI-13210CB is a surface-mounted protective enclosure designed to shield manual fire alarm stations, numeric keypads, intercom stations, emergency buttons, light switches, and electrical outlets from vandalism, accidental damage, dust, and corrosive environments. This model operates without an integrated horn—audio signaling is handled separately or through networked systems. The custom label option enables site-specific identification directly on the enclosure face. Rated for 24VDC operation, it integrates into standard access control and intercom power architectures without requiring dedicated supply circuits.
Compatibility
The STI-13210CB fits the universal stopper family and accommodates the majority of standard fire alarm stations, credential readers, and communication devices sized for the enclosure cavity. Surface mount design works on flat walls, frames, and existing structures without recessed installation requirements. Compatible with 24VDC access control and intercom systems where relay logic requires 12–24V switching power. The enclosed cavity is dimensioned to accept standard manual call points, numeric entry pads, and push-button interfaces common in commercial fire safety and access control deployments.
Installation Notes
Surface mounting requires drilling anchor holes into the wall or frame surface and securing with appropriate fasteners for the substrate type (concrete, drywall, steel frame). The polycarbonate cover is molded from UV-stabilized material to maintain transparency and resist yellowing in outdoor and high-sun exposures. Gaskets are included to seal the enclosure against dust and moisture ingress—ensure gaskets are seated before tightening the cover. The internal mounting plate is sealed (waterproof variant) or open (standard variant), depending on environmental exposure classification. The device meets ADA low-profile dimensional compliance. Hinged cover design allows full access for device replacement and routine maintenance without removing the enclosure body.
