STI STI-13200NY Universal Stopper Surface Mount Housing
Overview
The STI-13200NY is a surface-mounted protective enclosure designed to shield intercom stations, emergency call buttons, entry keypads, and access control equipment from vandalism, accidental damage, and environmental contamination. This variant is supplied without horn housing—meaning it accepts external speakers or integrates with systems where audio amplification is provided separately. Operates on 24VDC, compatible with standard low-voltage security and intercom architectures. The polycarbonate cover is UV-stabilized and transparent, maintaining visibility of internal controls while providing durable protection in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Compatibility
The STI-13200NY integrates with intercom systems, access control keypads, manual fire alarm stations, emergency call stations, and electrical switches that require protective housing. Surface-mount installation fits facilities where recessed (in-wall) mounting is impractical or unavailable. Compatible with 24VDC intercom networks and access control systems requiring standard low-voltage wiring. The housing accommodates internal relay outputs rated for 12–24VDC operation, supporting integration with door strikes, buzzers, and status signaling devices.
Installation Notes
Surface-mount installation uses the internal mounting plate. The enclosure is available in waterproof or non-waterproof configurations; the waterproof variant includes sealed internal wiring and threaded knockouts for rigid conduit (¾-inch). Housing features integral hinges and a latch mechanism (note: latch tab should not be used on fire alarm applications per code). Includes gaskets for environmental sealing. Meets ADA low-profile requirements. The protective cover is molded in heavy-duty polycarbonate with superior impact resistance and integral hinge design. No label option means this unit ships without pre-printed identification—suitable for custom labeling or unlabeled deployment scenarios.
