Overview
The STI-13220NR is a surface-mounted universal stopper combining physical button actuation with integrated audible notification. Operating at 24VDC, this unit protects manual fire alarm stations, numeric keypads, intercom stations, emergency buttons, and electrical switches from vandalism, accidental damage, dust, and environmental contamination both indoors and outdoors. The polycarbonate housing is UV-stabilized to maintain transparency and resist impact. No-label configuration provides unbranded appearance for institutional deployments.
Compatibility
The STI-13220NR accommodates standard fire alarm manual stations, intercom systems, and access control pushbuttons. Surface mounting allows installation on doors, frames, and adjacent surfaces. The unit is available with integrated horn options (105dB models) to provide simultaneous visual and audio feedback. Compatible with systems requiring 24VDC relay output with optional relay configuration supporting 12–24VDC power ranges.
Installation Notes
Surface-mounted installation requires standard fastening to flat surfaces. The waterproof housing includes sealed internal mounting plate and threaded ports accepting ¾-inch rigid electrical conduit on top and bottom. ADA-compliant low-profile design meets accessibility standards. Molded hinge provides high-resistance continuous operation. Gaskets are included; ensure proper seating to maintain environmental protection ratings. Optional relay output available for integration with external signaling circuits.
