STI STI-13310FR Universal Stopper Protective Enclosure
Overview
The STI-13310FR is a flush-back-box protective enclosure designed to shield manual fire alarm stations, emergency call stations, intercoms, keypads, and other access control devices from vandalism, accidental damage, and environmental contamination. The unit operates at 24VDC and ships without an integrated horn—use it when your audio alert is managed separately or when you need a clean, non-audible equipment cover. The polycarbonate dome is UV-stabilized to resist yellowing and remain transparent over time, and the enclosure meets ADA low-profile dimensions for compliant installation.
Compatibility
The STI-13310FR works with any emergency or access control device that fits within the enclosure opening, including manual fire alarm stations, numeric entry keypads, intercom call buttons, and emergency switches. The flush-mount back box is sized to accommodate standard electrical box depths and accepts rigid ¾-inch conduit connections on both top and bottom (threaded). The 24VDC power requirement integrates with commercial access control power supplies and backup systems. Mounting options include surface-mounted, recessed (flush-embedded), or IP-rated waterproof configurations depending on the back box variant you select.
Installation Notes
The enclosure includes sealed or open internal mounting plates for the flush-back box; choose based on whether the installation requires weatherproofing. Gaskets are supplied with the unit. The hinge is integral (one-piece) for durability and cannot be disassembled. An optional relay output accommodates 12–24VDC switching. Do not use the integral latch lever on fire alarm stations (per code)—the latch is for non-fire applications only. The low-profile design complies with ADA accessibility standards, allowing installation in high-traffic areas without obstruction.
