STI STI-14000NC Low Profile Intercom Housing
Overview
The STI-14000NC is a low-profile, flush-mount protective housing for door entry intercoms and access control stations. Built from UV-stabilized polycarbonate, it shields manual alarm stations, numeric keypads, intercom stations, emergency buttons, and light switches from vandalism, accidental damage, dust, moisture, and corrosive environments — both indoors and outdoors. The clear, hinged cover with integral mechanical latch allows quick access while maintaining protection when closed. Operating at 24VDC, the STI-14000NC integrates into standard access control and intercom architectures without requiring separate power conditioning.
Compatibility
The STI-14000NC is compatible with STI access control and intercom system controllers. The housing accommodates standard fire alarm stations, numeric entry keypads, and intercom handsets. Verify that your existing intercom endpoint, control module, and door strike/relay voltage match the 24VDC requirement before installation. The low-profile dome form factor fits standard door frame cutouts and surface-mount applications.
Installation Notes
Available in two mounting configurations: recessed (flush-mounted into door frame) and surface-mounted. Waterproof models feature sealed internal mounting plates and accept rigid ¾-inch conduit connections on top and bottom. ADA-compliant low-profile dimensions minimize obstruction at entry points. Gaskets are included for weather-sealed installations. Optional 12–24VDC relay output is available for integrated control logic. Do not use the mechanical latch tab on fire alarm station covers — locking mechanisms can delay emergency access.
