Overview
The STI-14210FR is a low-profile surface-mount protective enclosure designed to shield intercom stations, emergency buttons, keypads, and access control devices from vandalism, accidental damage, dust, and weather exposure. This model mounts directly to walls or surfaces without requiring flush-mount (recessed) installation, making it suitable for retrofit deployments or locations where cutting into walls is impractical. Operating at 24VDC, it integrates into existing intercom and access control systems across multi-unit residential, commercial, and campus environments. The 'without Horn' designation means the enclosure houses the intercom or control device only—audio amplification and speaker systems connect separately through your existing infrastructure.

The STI-14210FR works with fire alarm manual stations, numeric keypads for entry systems, intercom stations, emergency buttons, light switches, and electrical outlets. Verify your existing device dimensions against STI's fixture specifications; the enclosure is sized to fit most standard alarm and access control hardware. Compatible with 12–24VDC relay outputs if your intercom or control system includes optional relay function. Installation Notes
Surface mount requires standard wall anchors or wood screws appropriate to your substrate (drywall, concrete, or wood). The threaded top and bottom accept ¾-inch rigid conduit connections for overhead or underfloor routing. Sealed waterproof enclosure variant uses internal threaded mounting plate; open-box configuration available for non-weather applications. Polycarbonate cover is UV-stabilized to resist yellowing and retain optical clarity. Hinged design with integral locking mechanism and optional latch tab (unsuitable for fire alarm installations per code).
