Overview
The SS2242HV-EN is a push button station designed to integrate with magnetic lock strike systems in door access control installations. Operating at 30VDC, it provides one normally open (N.O.) and one normally closed (N.C.) contact for triggering magnetic releases on standard door frames. The universal Stopper cover accommodates flexible mounting configurations without anchors, fitting installations where frame depth is a constraint.
Compatibility
This station integrates with magnetic locking systems requiring 30VDC trigger signals. The universal cover design works with standard door frame mounting configurations. Dimensions of 6.36 inches by 3.22 inches fit typical commercial entry points. When installed without anchor mounting, the unit provides approximately 1-1/4 inch depth clearance, allowing flexibility in retrofit and new construction scenarios where frame thickness varies.
Installation Notes
Installation requires drilling 3/16 diameter holes per SERVICE PIN specifications. The unit supports both anchored and non-anchored mounting configurations. LED indicator operates on 12–24VAC/VDC, providing visual feedback during button actuation. Voltage supply must be isolated at 30VDC to avoid coil burnout or contact chatter with lower-voltage gate operators.
