Description

STI STI-1100CR Stopper II® Horn Flush Mount

Overview

The STI-1100CR is a flush-mount protective cover for manual fire alarm pull stations, sized to accommodate pull stations from 5-1/2" to 6-3/4" in width and height. This model includes an optional warning horn powered by 9VDC battery—a deterrent layer that signals unauthorized activation attempts while protecting the manual trigger from accidental or deliberate misuse. The clear plastic window allows visual access to the pull station without removing the cover. Designed for schools, hospitals, hotels, retail environments, and industrial facilities where physical damage prevention and false-alarm reduction matter.

Compatibility

The STI-1100CR fits flush-mounted manual pull stations up to 5-1/2" wide and 6-3/4" high. Actual compatible dimensions vary with pull station depth: a 3/4" deep station may be 5-1/2" wide × 6" high; a 1-5/8" deep station may be 5" wide × 6" high; a 2-3/8" deep station may be 4" wide × 5-3/4" high; a 2-3/4" deep station may be 3" wide × 5-1/2" high. Verify your existing pull station dimensions and depth before ordering to confirm fit. The cover is UL-listed and ADA-compliant for compliance-driven installations.

Installation Notes

Flush-mount installation requires no spacer—the cover mounts directly to the wall around the pull station. For outdoor or wet environments, optional neoprene gaskets are available (Weather Stopper II models) to seal behind the frame. The 9VDC horn requires a battery power source; confirm battery availability and replacement intervals in your maintenance schedule. The cover carries an unconditional lifetime guarantee against breakage and damage under normal use.
