STI STI-1150NR Concise Descriptor

Overview

The STI-1150NR is an indoor/outdoor rated flush mount protective cover designed to guard manual fire alarm pull stations. It effectively prevents accidental or intentional physical damage and environmental ingress, while still allowing legitimate alarms to be activated. This model includes an optional piezo horn that sounds when the cover is lifted, providing an immediate alert. It is suitable for deployment in schools, hospitals, stores, and public buildings where false alarms or vandalism are concerns. The STI-1150NR is designed to accommodate most standard manual pull stations.

Compatibility

This cover is designed to fit over most standard manual fire alarm pull stations. It can also accommodate larger surface-mounted pull stations when used with the STI-3100 conduit spacer. The unit is UL Listed for use with outdoor-rated pull stations.

Installation Notes

The STI-1150NR requires a 9V DC power source for the optional horn. Typical working properties of the polycarbonate construction range from -40° to 250°F (-40° to 121°C). The unit is rated IP54 for environmental protection against dust and splashing water.
