The STI-7504 is a transparent protective enclosure that mounts over existing keypad readers in access control installations. It solves a specific vulnerability: preventing shoulder surfing and unauthorized observation of PIN entry. The clear acrylic design lets authorized users see the keypad while the hood geometry blocks sightlines from adjacent angles — critical in high-traffic corridors, lobbies, and shared entry points where tailgating or code capture poses a real threat to perimeter security.

The STI-7504 fits standard keypad reader modules and integrates into existing door access control systems without requiring controller changes. It mounts mechanically via six 3/16-inch (4.7mm) anchor points and works with legacy and modern keypad-based authentication across commercial and institutional facilities. Verify your existing keypad module dimensions before ordering — this is a passive enclosure, not a reader itself, so it requires a functional keypad already installed.
Installation Notes
Mounting requires drilling six 3/16-inch (4.7mm) diameter holes 7/8 inch (22mm) deep into the mounting surface. Six anchors and six #8 × 1-inch screws are provided. The gasket-backed assembly applies directly over the existing keypad; trim gasket material as needed to clear obstructions. Total dimensions: 8.75 inches wide × 6.75 inches tall × 4.75 inches deep. Cleaning is simple — rinse with water, wash with mild soap and soft cloth (no scrubbing), and dry thoroughly. For grease or paint residue, use naphtha on a damp cloth only — avoid razor blades or solvents that degrade acrylic.
